@Minecraft2Xtreme Aeternalis Fuel and Mobius Fuel don’t run in anything except EMC-based machines anymore. EE’s developer says he disabled their use as standard fuel because machines start to bug out the game when you have fuel values that are so ridiculously high.

By the way, the filter and retriever section of this is kinda similar to the water mill equivalent of this, huh? The only difference is that we have an infinite lava source instead of an infinite water source fed into buckets.

@natchu96 And something like 10 times more energy ;-)

gigax571 February 6, 2012 at 1:24 pm

@camyrocks123 Using cells instead of buckets means you have to have a condenser making either tin or lava cells as well, along with an automatic crafting bench if you decide to make tin, because the Geothermal Generators eat lava cells, unlike the buckets. It’s simply cheaper and faster to use buckets.

gigax571 February 6, 2012 at 1:24 pm

@camyrocks123 No, because Pneumatic Tubes don’t expel items unless they aren’t connected to something. The buckets will just bounce around the system looking for a Geothermal Generator to get put into.

NivthK February 6, 2012 at 1:31 pm

@sgtkillgore09 Yeah, but then 2 or more collectors would be needed

hcbtGaming February 6, 2012 at 1:33 pm

cool

dedmenmiller February 6, 2012 at 1:34 pm

i should subsctibe you ehm how to subscribe twice or do you mean i should dewubscrbe then ok if you want that

sgtkillgore09 February 6, 2012 at 1:36 pm

@NivthK I just had another look and it does appear that Odedex’s setup appears faster than a lava cell setup. However a lava cell factory requires fewer machines.

camyrocks123 February 6, 2012 at 1:39 pm

@gigax571 Wouldnt it Overflow with buckets because a Bucket is waiting in the Geo waiting for it to cool down ?

gaminglurp February 6, 2012 at 1:55 pm

the first part of this system could also work as a obsidian generator. is obsidian higher EMC value that redstone? if so then it would be a system witch multiples emc.

bruuzz February 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm

wow i tried this system and its amazing. i can get 1040 eu/t with this. if u have 4 mk3 collectors and set the timer to 0,7 secounds it is enough to power 52 geothermal generators! :D

GunMetalBeatBox February 6, 2012 at 2:01 pm

Kind of similar to the infinite hydro electric generator. Which is better?

fraserelliottguitar February 6, 2012 at 2:03 pm

Could this also be used for buildcraft to fill up engines using lava cells?

sgtkillgore09 February 6, 2012 at 2:05 pm

Nice, however it is possible to simplify this by targeting Lava Cells instead.
Yes, Lava Cells can be created using EE. They cost 128 EMC and are the only cells that can be created like this. Empty Cells, Water Cells and Coolant Cells cannot be targeted.
Cool Tutorial all the same Odedex. : )

DaMightyHuuma February 6, 2012 at 2:08 pm

you really like these mods.

sgtkillgore09 February 6, 2012 at 2:13 pm

@gigax571 No need to mess around with crafting tables or tin. Lava Cells can be made in a Condenser for 128 EMC. Just make sure you have a lava cell in the target slot.
With a Tier 3 Collector powering a Condenser, you can get one lava cell every 5 seconds.

Minecraft2Xtreme February 6, 2012 at 2:14 pm

Why not just have a bunch of collector mk3s and pull out all of the aerternas fuel and run them in a generator?

Minecraft2Xtreme February 6, 2012 at 2:16 pm

U shoul upload More offen!

camyrocks123 February 6, 2012 at 2:18 pm

Hey nice design but wouldn’t the buckets over flow I’d the geo are filled with. A bucket ? Also can u do a video using cells instead of buckets because I don’t know how that would work. noon at redpower stuff

XxshebedxX February 6, 2012 at 2:18 pm

its so freaking amazing i have been looking for this video for months thank you odedex
